Huddersfield Lunchtime Laughter Club is a warm and welcoming group. We will be using laughter exercises, mindful breathing and meditation to lift our mood, lift our energy, and reap the wonderful benefits that laughter brings. No jokes, comedy, sense of humour or knowledge of yoga required. Just a willingness to laugh and let go.
This welcoming venue will be filled with giggles galore as we practice Laughter Yoga for well-being. It is not about forcing laughter but connecting with your own innate joy to bring about natural, spontaneous and contagious laughter.
It will be an opportunity to rediscover your inner joy and playfulness whilst de-stressing and giving your physical and psychological well-being a wonderful energising yet relaxing boost and preparing you for the week ahead.
Laughter boosts our immune system, lowers our blood pressure and releases all those "feel good" neurochemicals that change the way we feel about ourselves and the world around us.
Laughter connects us.
Bring a friend. Bring your family. Bring a stranger. Or simply bring yourself.
Cost is £5 per person or a donation.
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a willingness to laugh and let go.
The room and building is fully accessible for those with mobility difficulties.
